D’ANGELO’S SECOND ALBUM GETS A LONG OVERDUE REPRESS. Voodoo originally came out back at the turn of the century, following his critically acclaimed debut Brown Sugar, and hasn’t seen a proper vinyl reissue since. The music here speaks for itself. For the uninitiated, check out “Devil’s Pie,” “Spanish Joint,” “Untitled (How Does It Feel?),” “Feel Like Makin’ Love” and “The Root.” A modern classic by every means. Recommended.
